36 Beneficiaries Screened | Project Sunkalp at Murugancherry, Madurantakam
Taking preventive healthcare closer to rural communities, Kalpavriksham Trust, under Project Sunkalp, conducted a cancer screening camp at Murugancherry, Madurantakam, Tamil Nadu, on 2nd November 2026.
The camp provided an opportunity for 36 community members — 8 men and 28 women — to access essential screening services.
Camp Highlights:
24 iBreast Examinations
36 Oral Examinations
2 Positive Screening Findings:
-1 iBreast
-1 Skin
The two positive screening findings highlight the importance of timely medical evaluation and appropriate follow-up. A positive screening result does not necessarily mean cancer; further assessment by a healthcare professional is essential.
Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to promote awareness, encourage early detection, and make cancer screening services more accessible to underserved communities.
Every Screening Counts. Every Step Towards Early Detection Matters!
